Retirement Benefits Authority makes a donation towards the Kenya Red Cross Drought Fund at a ceremony officiated by Her Excellency, First Lady Of The Republic Of Kenya, Mrs. Margaret Kenyatta on 6th July 2017 at State House Nairobi.

The Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) Board, led by the Chairman, Mr. Victor Pratt responded to the plight of Kenyans who have been adversely affected by the raging drought when they donated Ksh. One Million to Kenya Red Cross Society at State House Nairobi, on 6th July 2017.

 

Mr. Pratt presented the Cheque to the Her Excellency The First Lady of the Republic of Kenya, Mrs. Margaret Kenyatta at a hand-over ceremony organized by Kenya Red Cross Society and officiated by H.E. the First Lady.

 

Mr. Pratt was accompanied by Directors, Stephen Gichohi, MBS, Vincent Rotich, Paul Muthaura (CEO CMA), Godfrey Kiptum, MBS (Commissioner of Insurance) and Management, led by Mr. Nzomo Mutuku, Ag. CEO, Mrs. Praxidis Saisi, Board Secretary and Ms. Rose Kwena, Chief Manager Corporate Communication.

 

While handing over the cheque, Mr. Pratt thanked the First Lady for taking a keen interest in the plight of Kenyans and focusing her efforts towards alleviating the suffering of the Kenyan people. “It is a known fact that you have a heart for human interest programmes. Your Beyond Zero campaign has been applauded as one of the greatest philanthropic endeavors in this part of the continent”, he said.

 

Mr. Pratt also appreciated Kenya Red Cross Society’s contribution towards tackling the ongoing drought and always going an extra mile to help Kenyans in many diverse circumstances.
